Abstract

Bastion Karance Village is one of the communities located along the shore of Ternate City. Due to its relatively low altitude and flat, sloping terrain, this hamlet has a very high danger of flooding. This project's aims are to collect data on the risk of natural disasters, to estimate the consequences of such catastrophes, and to assess the community's and government's adaptability in the research area. Observation, In-Depth Interviews, Forum Group Discussions (sometimes referred to as in-depth interviews), and Literature Reviews are the four components of the approach used to gather data in the field. According to the results of the study, both the community and the government of Ternate City have shown a high level of adaptability; yet, there is still space for growth in terms of the capacity to predict natural disasters
